I thought it was rather elegant and with such a lovely print. The straps cross at the back and are secured with matching buttons. You could also uncross these and wear them straight. I think this dress looks best when worn unbuttoned to just above the knee which allows it to flow and flip (with the aid of four godet pleats), as you walk and it is oh so understatedly sexy.
